Now RBI has selected six Indian banks for the individual consumers. Top most trustworthy banks in India including The State Bank of India ( SBI), Punjab National Bank, South Indian Bank Ltd., Central Bank of India, Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd., and  DBS Bank India Ltd. HOW TO REGISTER ON THE RBI UDGAM PORTAL?

UDGAM Portal has been introduced for consumers to check and track unclaimed deposits of all banks easily. Consumers can easily check their due deposits in seconds from the official UDGAM Portal. You need to register on the official site to be a beneficiary. You can follow the steps listed below to register on the UDGAM Portal.

Now on the homepage, you will find the option of registration. Enter your name and number. Create a password and write down the captcha as shown on the screen.

Till now seven top Indian Banks have been a part of UDGAM Portal so far. For individuals, there are six banks available. For non-individuals, only one bank has been introduced till now. Six banks for individuals are_

  • The State Bank of India ( SBI)
  • Punjab National Bank 
  • South Indian Bank Ltd.
  • Central Bank of India 
  • DBS Bank India Ltd.
  • Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd.

For non-individuals, the only one bank is_

  • Citi Bank. 

More banks will be added to the list starting from 15th October 2023.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR RBI UDGAM REGISTRATION

To register on the official RBI UDGAM Website, the consumers need to provide their valid documents. The list of the documents that need to be uploaded has been mentioned here. 

  • PAN number of the consumer.
  • 12-digit Aadhar Number.
  • Date of Birth
  • Driving License
