KARNATAKA RATION CARD DBT STATUS 2023
Almost 1.28 crore citizens of Karnataka get 35 kilograms of food grain per month under the Karnataka Anna Bhagya Scheme. All of these people have either BPL or Antyodaya Cards as their financial condition is substandard.
INR 2/ kg wheat and INR 3/ Kg rice and other necessary grains are provided to these families under the Anna Bhagya Scheme. Now the Government is going to pay INR 170 per month via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) instead of giving 5kg extra rice.
The beneficiaries have to have their Aadhar Card linked with their Ration Card. Almost 1.2 crore people or 99% of people who have already registered their Aadhar number with their ration card will be benefited from this scheme.
