Production Of The Wheel of Time Season 2
The writing of The Wheel of Time season 2 got announced by Raje Judkins on November 13, 2019. It was reported in Deadline on 28th April 2021 that Season 2 of The Wheel of Time filming will begin soon after Season 1 of The Wheel of Time.
The title page for Season 2 of The Wheel of Time premiere episode was posted on 19th May 2021, but it was deleted promptly. The official announcement for Season 2 of The Wheel of Time was done on 20th May 2021.
Sanaa Hamr is joining the Season 2 of The Wheel of Time as a director for half of the season and the executive producer was announced on September 15, 2021.
Casting Of The Wheel of Time season 2
Donal Finn’s casting for the role of Mat Cauthon was announced on September 20, 2021. He had replaced Barney Harris who played Mat Cauthon in the first season. Rafe Judkins announced on October 8, 2021, that Meera Syal and Natasha O’Keeffe have joined the second season. Arnas Fedaravicius, Guy Roberts, and Gregg Chilingirian’s casting was announced on December 6, 2021.
Four more members of the cast were revealed officially on April 22, 2023. They were: Rima Te Wiata as Sheriam Bayanar, Jay Duffy as Dain Bornhald, Ragga Ragnars as Bain, and Simonsen as Chiad.
