Jio Bharat V2 4G Phone: In a bid to offer 4G internet connectivity to all and sundry, Reliance Jio has launched the most affordable phone with 4G capabilities, ‘Jio Bharat V2. It got launched on July 7, 2023, as part of the “2G Mukt Bharat” (2G-free India) aim. They plan to shift 250 million customers who are already using 2G phones to shift to 4G.
They project that they will be adding more than 10 crore customers with this phone. ‘Jio Bharat V2’ is available on multiple online shopping platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, etc, and on retail locations like Reliance Digital stores, Jio retail locations, and others in India. The phone is currently priced at Rs.999/-.

The phone has basic functionalities that are needed to keep the users connected to the 4G network, no matter which part of the country he is in. Jio has equipped the phone with the Jio cinema app where the users can watch videos, movies, and sports.
It also has JioSaavn App where they can listen to more than 8 crore songs. It has JioPay to receive and send UPI payments. The users can also use other apps like social media. The phone supports 23 languages which is an important feature for rural India where the english literacy level is low.
