ICC World Cup India Squad 2023: The air is thick with excitement as the Sharks of World Cricket are all set to face each other on the cricketing battlefield for the ICC World Cup starting from Oct 5, 2023. After much anticipation, ICC has announced the schedule of World Cup 2023 on June 27, 2023, just 100 days before the World Cup begins. Initially, the schedule was supposed to be published on the sidelines of the World Cup final. In the past World Cup tournaments, the schedule was finalized almost 12 months in advance. The World Cup is knocking at the door and social media is buzzing with the hype of the high-voltage matches that fans are going to experience.
India is hosting the prestigious World Cup again after 12 years, since their historic win in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in 2011. 10 teams are going to participate in World Cup tournaments (same participants as in the 2019 World Cup). Within 46 days 48 matches will be played in total.

ICC MEN ODI WORLD CUP MATCH TIME AND VENUE
The first match of the ICC men ODI World Cup will be played on Oct 5, 2023, in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
India is going to play their first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The much anticipated high voltage IND vs. PAK match is going to be held on Oct 15, 2023 (Sunday). However, due to the Navratri festival, the match is now expected to be held on Oct 14, 2023. BCCI has arranged a meeting with the board members in New Delhi on July 27 to finalise the date. The match is organized in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. This stadium in Gujarat can host a whopping number of 130000 people who will be gathering for this blockbuster match.
The game will be starting at 2.00 p.m. IST. All matches are scheduled at the same time. But on the days when there are two group stage matches, the first game will be at 10.30 a.m. and the second game will be at 2 p.m.The Semifinals and finals are also supposed to start at 2.00 p.m.
Altogether in a total of 10 venues in India, the ICC World Cup will be played. The venues are-Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Dharamshala.
The warm-up matches are arranged to be held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram besides Hyderabad from 29 September to 3 Oct. At the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai the first semi-final will be played while the second one is arranged to be held at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

ICC is soon going to make the tickets available online for ICC World Cup (men) 2023. Pre-booking options will be available for all of the matches on the website of ICC World Cup or in its app.
Except that the tickets are also expected to be available on websites like Paytm and Bookmyshow. The offline sales of the tickets will be limited and ICC is mainly focusing on selling tickets online.
The price range will vary depending on the venue and importance of the match. But the range should be within 500 to 10,000 per ticket.
ICC WORLD CUP 2023 LIVE TELECAST
Star Sports channels will broadcast the matches live on TV in India and its subcontinent (Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka) countries. Star Sports has made the biggest agreement with ICC for broadcasting men’s cricket for eight years.
The game will be streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar online. The viewers need to take a subscription to be able to watch the game on digital platforms (Disney+ Hotstar).
