AIAPGET COUNSELLING 2023
The candidates who have successfully qualified AIAPGET exam can take admission to various Ayush colleges for Post Graduation in India. There are various seat matrices available including All India Quota seats, State Quota Seats, Private University seats, Deemed University seats etc. Candidates who already have an Undergraduate Degree in Ayurveda/ Yoga and Naturopathy/ Unani/ Siddha and Homeopathy can write this exam.

AIAPGET has seat reservations based on the category of the students. Various Government and Government aided Ayush colleges, have a specific number of all India quota seats reserved for category students. The percentage of reserved seats for various categories has been mentioned below.

AIAPGET COUNSELLING 2023: DETAILED PROCESS
The candidates who will successfully clear the AIAPGET 2023 Cut off, are eligible to participate in the Counselling Process. Candidates have to go through Registration, Choice filling, Seat Allotment, and Document Verification process to get into their desired colleges.
1. REGISTRATION
AACCC will publish the notification regarding AIAPGET Counselling on their official website very soon. The candidates need to enroll or register on the official website for Counselling. Candidates need to enter their name, roll number, rank in AIAPGET, and other relevant information as instructed. Candidates are advised to fill up the registration form very carefully as any variation in the application form and counselling registration form can disqualify them from the counselling process.
All of the information entered during the counselling must match the information in your admit card and application form. Candidates have to pay a registration fee which may vary depending on the category of the candidates. The registration fee is non-refundable. But Candidates also have to pay a security fee based on their allotted colleges. The security fee is refundable.
For AIQ Govt, Government aided colleges, and National and Central colleges –
- The registration fee for UR / OBC is 2000.
- For SC/ST/ PwD is 1000.
- The security fee for all is 10,000.
For Deemed and Private Institutions –
- The registration Fee is 5000. ( All categories)
- Security Fee – 50,000( All Categories).
2. CHOICE FILLING
After Registration, the candidates need to select the name of a few colleges they want to be admitted to and the course they want to pursue. Candidates have to log in using their enrollment number and password or DOB and fill up the choices on the official website. They have to select from the list provided by the officials. Candidates should be very careful while locking the choice and they should keep their most desired college at the highest position.
For example, if you select 5 colleges during choice filling you should go from your most desired college to least desired chronologically. The authority always tries to give the first preferred college of the candidate. But of course, the seat allotment process depends on various factors. Once you are done with the choice filling, check the list and lock your choices. Please make sure to do the whole process very attentively because, after the final submission, you can’t change anything.
3. SEAT ALLOTMENT
After the choice-filling date expires, the authority will start the seat allocations. There are certain factors including the rank of the candidate, the popularity of the college, and the preference of the candidates that decide the seat allotment.
The candidates with better results will get the colleges first. After a few days, they will publish the result of the round 1 seat allotment. The students who will be allotted a college need to be present in their allotted college for document verification. The candidates who won’t be allotted a seat can participate in round 2 counselling.
4. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
The candidates who have been allotted a seat need to go to their allotted institution with the necessary documents. Their documents will be verified by the authorities before their admission process is done. The candidates who will successfully qualify for the document verification round can take admission to the college.

- 12th standard certificate
- Birth certificate
- BAMS/ BHMS/BSMS/BUMS Undergraduate Certificate and Marksheet.

WHAT TO DO IF I HAVE NOT BEEN ALLOTTED A SEAT IN ROUND 1 COUNSELLING?
The candidates who have not been allotted any colleges in round 1 counselling will get a refund of their security fee. After a few days of Round 1 counselling, the authority will again publish a notice regarding Round 2 counselling. So the Candidate needs to do a fresh registration and follow the same process further. After round 2 there will be a mop-up round and finally a stray vacancy round.
Candidates should participate in the Counselling till the end as in the mop-up and stray vacancy round the seat is allotted even with much lower marks than round 1. The candidates who have already got a college will get an option for further upgradation of college. If they don’t participate in the upgradation process, they will continue their further studies from the allotted colleges.
